1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using securitybreak.io(the “Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. Scope

These terms cover this marketing and research website only. Our products — such as NovaHunting, Proximity, and PromptIntel — are provided as separate applications under their own terms and agreements. Where those terms conflict with these, the product-specific terms control for that product.

3. Use of the Site

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site in violation of any applicable law or regulation, or for any unlawful or harmful purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to, disrupt, or interfere with the Site, its servers, or its networks.
  • Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Site by automated means except as permitted by our robots directives or with our prior written consent.
  • Introduce malware or attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Site without authorization.
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or infringe the rights of others.

4. Intellectual property

The Site and its content — including text, graphics, logos, and the SecurityBreak name and marks — are owned by SecurityBreak or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may view and share our public research and content for personal, non-commercial use with attribution, but you may not otherwise copy, republish, or exploit it without permission.

Open-source projects and community resources we publish are licensed under the terms stated in their respective repositories, which govern your use of that code and data.

5. Research content is informational

Security research, write-ups, indicators, and tools on the Site are provided for informational and educational purposes. They do not constitute professional, legal, or security advice, and they are offered without any warranty as to accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. You are responsible for how you use this information, and you must only test systems you are authorized to test.

6. Third-party links and services

The Site may link to third-party websites and services that we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices, and linking does not imply endorsement.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SecurityBreak and its contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Site.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SecurityBreak from any claims, losses, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the Site or your violation of these terms.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your information.

11. Changes to the Site and these terms

We may modify or discontinue the Site, and we may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the revised terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction in which SecurityBreak operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes will be subject to the courts of that jurisdiction.
